WHAT'S A FOCUS GROUP?
A Focus Group is a round-table discussion where individuals get together to share their opinions about a specific product or service. There are no wrong or right answers, our clients value your opinions and want to know what you really think and feel about the topic being discussed. The discussions are moderated by market research professionals and usually last between 1-2 hours. When you're done, you can choose between receiving cash or free Elephant Steps Playpasses!
WHO CAN REGISTER FOR FOCUS GROUPS?
Elephant Steps needs people of all backgrounds and ages...even kids! (with parent’s permission) Registering is free and easy!
HOW DO I REGISTER?
You can register in our database by clicking the Start Survey link in the top left hand side of the page. Then you fill in information about yourself. The more details you give us about yourself, the more likely it is that you will qualify for a Focus Group.

YES! Elephant Steps keeps your information completely confidential. We do not sell or give your information to any third party.
ONCE I HAVE REGISTERED, WHAT HAPPENS?
Using a computer program, Elephant Steps will match your information to the research studies they need to fill. If your information seems to match, Elephant Steps will call or e-mail you to ask if you are interested and available for the study. You will then be asked a series of questions to see if you qualify for the study. If we determine you are qualified we will pay you to come into our office to participate.
WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES AS A FOCUS GROUP PARTICIPANT?
Elephant Steps and its clients rely on the integrity of focus group respondents to conduct accurate and meaningful research.
We ask that you:
- Be truthful in answering questions about yourself and your habits.
- Arrive for your appointment on time and ready to participate in the discussion.
- Notify Elephant Steps if you must cancel with as much advance notice as possible.
- Enjoy it. Focus Groups are fun!
- Panelists under the age of 18 must have a Parent or Guardian's permission to participate.
